Vidyarambh 2.0: A New Beginning
Vidyarambh 2.0 at Rungta University was more than an orientation—it was a launchpad for students to begin their university journey with confidence, ambition, and a clear vision for the future.
Across five action-packed days, students experienced a powerful blend of academic learning, industry exposure, leadership, innovation, and global opportunities. The programme featured an inspiring keynote by entrepreneur and author Ankur Warikoo, along with Global Education Sessions by Coursera, Google for Education, and Cambridge.
Students also engaged with leaders and experts through the Leadership Lounge, gaining valuable insights into careers, future skills, AI, and the evolving world of work. Industry participation from Ericsson, Finastra, Ansys, Eightfold AI, CrowdStrike, Dassault Systèmes, AML RightSource, and NIQ added strong real-world perspectives.
The presence of Shri O.P. Choudhary, Shri Rikesh Sen, and Shri Ravin Nair further highlighted Rungta University’s commitment to academic excellence, industry collaboration, and globally relevant education.
Vidyarambh 2.0 set the stage for students to move from preparing for the future to actively building it.
Vidyarambh : The First Step Towards a New Beginning
Vidyarambh marked the first-ever Orientation at Rungta University, setting the stage for a new generation of students to begin their university journey with confidence, curiosity, and a vision for the future.
Designed as a five-day orientation programme, Vidyarambh went beyond a traditional welcome. It brought together academic insights, industry interaction, leadership perspectives, and inspiring conversations to help students understand the opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead.
The programme was graced by Shri Ramen Deka, Hon’ble Governor of Chhattisgarh, as the Chief Guest, whose presence added significance to this landmark beginning. The event also featured Mr. Saurabh Dwivedi from The Lallantop as the Guest of Honour, bringing a distinctive perspective on media, communication, society, and contemporary India.
A key highlight of the programme was the HR Interaction Session, where students engaged with accomplished industry professionals including Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, Mr. Sanjay Jain from Google, and Mr. Somesh Sharma from Techment. Their insights provided students with a valuable understanding of industry expectations, career opportunities, workplace skills, and the evolving world of work.
Across five engaging days, Vidyarambh created meaningful opportunities for students to connect, learn, interact, and look beyond the classroom. It introduced them to the culture of Rungta University while encouraging them to think ambitiously about their academic and professional journeys.
Vidyarambh was not just the beginning of university life it was the beginning of a journey towards discovering potential, building confidence, and shaping the future.
