Scholarships & Concessions

Scholarships, merit awards, need-based fee concessions, and tuition waivers for underprivileged/meritorious students. The group is offering various merit-based and need-based scholarships to the students through the following Scholarships:

• 1. Pravesh Vijay Scholarship

  Based on CG State Entrance (PET / PPHT / PPT for B.Tech / B. Pharmacy / Dip Engg.).

• 2. Ujjwal Vidyarthi Scholarship

  Based on Marks Scored in Qualifying Exams (For B.Tech / B.Pharm / MBA / MCA / BBA / BCA / M.Pharma / M.Tech).

• 3. Alma Connect Scholarship

  Scholarship for Alumni & Current Students Pursuing Higher Degrees at Our Institution.

• 4. Sibling Shiksha Scholarship

  Scholarship for Siblings of Alumni / Current Students.

• 5. Parivar Samman Scholarship

  Scholarship for Employees, Spouse & Wards.

• 6. Paramveer Scholarship

  Scholarship for Wards of BSF/CRPF/SSB Employees (Current Employees as well as Martyrs). The Society has an exclusive MOU with these national defense establishments for offering Scholarships on Pan-India basis.

• 7. Khel Ratna Scholarship

  Sports Scholarships.

• 8. Swatantra Jyoti Scholarship

  Scholarship for Wards of Freedom Fighters.

• 9. Saksham Scholarship

  Scholarships with persons with Min 40% Disability.

Blood Donation Camps & Free Medical Check-up Camps

• Regular blood donation drives are conducted in collaboration with certified blood banks and hospitals.
• Each drive collects 100+ units of blood.
• Major drives are held on the institution’s Foundation Day and on the birth anniversary of the Founder, Late Shri G. D. Rungta.
• Additional camps are organised throughout the year with various social welfare groups.
• Donors are felicitated with Certificates and Safety Helmets.
• Medical and Health Camps – General health screening camps (BP, diabetes, dental, eye checkups), vaccination drives, and consultations are conducted by the Pharmacy College.

Swachh Bharat & Social Welfare Activities

• Cleanliness drives, waste-management workshops, tree-plantation campaigns, village adoption initiatives, and civic awareness campaigns.
• The group has internal Clubs by the name of RISE (Rungta Initiative for Social Empowerment), as well as bodies like NSS, which collectively participate in all such Government Initiatives like:
  
  • Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
  • Tree Plantation Drive under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam
• The group has also adopted 6 Villages under the Gram God Yojana of the Government, where all Awareness activities for all age groups, including the School Students, Senior Citizens, are being done on a regular basis.

Placementnaama & Sach Hue Sapne

The Group, as a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility, has initiated an effort to assist all the students of Chhattisgarh, aiming at the total Central India, getting placed in various MNCs through the Placementnamaa. Students from various domains of Engineering, Arts and Science, Pharmacy, Management, Diploma, and ITI participate in the grand event free of cost and get themselves placed in various companies. This Activity is a CSR Activity being done every year in May for the passing out batches for all the Courses.

• The Activity is done in Joint Collaboration with the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Chhattisgarh.
• More than 8000+ students register for the Drives, and almost 60+ companies are participating every year.
• Approximately 1200-1500 Students are being placed every year across all the Colleges of the state.
• The average package is around 3 Lakhs, and the Highest package goes up to 24 LPA.
• The Drive ends with a ceremony in which all the parents of the placed students are called, and the original Offer letters are handed over to them by guests like the Chief Minister, Education Minister, followed by a dinner.

Women’s Empowerment Activities

The Group has an Internal Club by the name of Radiance, which organizes Women’s Empowerment activities throughout the year.

• Self-defense workshops, digital literacy training, health & hygiene camps, and awareness programs.
• Activities like Self Defense Workshops in association with the Raksha Team of the District Police Department are being done twice a year. Raksha Team guides on women’s safety and cybercrime. The lectures are followed by a live demonstration and training on self-defense.
• Health & Hygiene Activities for Women are being done by calling specialists, Doctors from different domains.
• Group Organizes an event on Women’s Day to Respect & describe the roles/contributions of “Mitanins” in the domain of Oral Health education. Mitanins have been given training in this program and Distributed Aprons to Mitanins.

Entrepreneurship Support Bootcamps

The group has an Incubator by the name of RuBI (Rungta Business Incubator) which organizes various Entrepreneurship support bootcamps for the general Public free of charge to nurture and support Entrepreneurship.

• Other Notable Entrepreneurship Activity is the event by the name of CHESS – Chhattisgarh Entrepreneurship and Startup Summit, organized every year by the group.
• The event is a national-level event to sensitize, energize, and strengthen the startup network in Chhattisgarh. This event is being organized in association with Startup India and Startup Chhattisgarh.
• The Summit every year brings about 40+ investors (VCs, Angels, and Individual investors). It gets about 1000-plus startup project entries.
• There is an active participation of banks, financial institutions, govt. departments too.
• The best startup ideas get a chance to pitch their business idea to investors.
• The event is packed with knowledge sessions by successful entrepreneurs and investors, as well as there are pitching sessions and workshops in select key technologies/domains.
• Startups from the state have been able to raise Funds to the tune of 2 Crores through this CHESS platform.
