Entrepreneurship 101 Inspires Students at Rungta University to Embrace the Realities of Startup Life

Rungta University, through its Rungta Business Incubator (RuBI), successfully organized Entrepreneurship 101 on 22 May 2026 at the B Block Auditorium, bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and students eager to understand the realities of building a startup.

The keynote session was delivered by Mr. Pradeep Yuvaraj, Business Storytelling Specialist, Pitchdeck Strategist, Keynote Speaker, Global Co-Lead – TiE-U, and Vice-President, TiE Coimbatore. With extensive entrepreneurial experience that includes three startup failures, two successful exits, and one acquihire, he shared practical insights and honest lessons from his entrepreneurial journey.

The session, titled “A Hundred Reasons Not to Become an Entrepreneur and One Reason Why You Should,” focused on the challenges, uncertainties, and responsibilities that come with entrepreneurship. Moving beyond the glamor often associated with startup culture, Mr. Yuvaraj encouraged students to understand the importance of resilience, adaptability, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

Students gained valuable exposure to topics such as startup validation, Lean Canvas, founder networking, mentorship, storytelling, and the importance of building solutions with purpose. The session also highlighted how failures and setbacks are essential learning experiences in the entrepreneurial journey.

Addressing a packed auditorium, the speaker emphasized that entrepreneurship is not about avoiding failure, but about learning from every challenge and continuing to move forward with determination and vision. His engaging interaction with students inspired many young minds to think beyond conventional career paths and explore innovation-driven opportunities.

The event served as a meaningful platform for students to interact with an industry expert and gain real-world understanding of the startup ecosystem. Entrepreneurship 101 reinforced Rungta University’s commitment to nurturing innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurial thinking among students.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion where students actively participated, asked questions, and explored ideas related to startups, leadership, and future business opportunities.
