Fee Policy (Summary)

A. Payment Modes

  • Fees are to be paid online only via ERP portals: Digii (RU students) & Collexo (Affiliated University).
  • Accepted methods: Net Banking, UPI, Debit/Credit Card.
  • Cash payments are not accepted, except in rare cases with prior approval.

B. Fee Due Dates

  • Fees must be paid within 10 days of the start of each semester/year.
  • DSW will notify students 15 days before classes commence.
  • Late fee: ₹25 per day after the due date until full payment is made.

C. Extensions & Concessions

  • Students may apply for a fee payment extension with valid reasons.
  • Minimum 50% payment required for extension (special cases may be considered).
  • Fee concession may be granted in cases like illness, disability, or family crisis, subject to approval.

D. Hostel Fees Payment

  • Hostel booking is yearly and includes Room Rent + Mess Charges (both compulsory).
  • 50% must be paid at booking, balance within 15 days of class commencement.
  • Refund/waiver rules apply if a student vacates within or after 2 months.

E. Refund Policy

  • If admission is cancelled before the last admission date, fees are refunded as per Govt. norms (after deductions).
  • Caution money is fully refundable.
  • Refunds (Govt. scholarships/loans) will be processed maximum within 15 days of receipt by the university.

F. Special Cases

  • Govt. Scholarships / Bank Loans: Students must first pay fees; refunds are given once the university receives the amount.
  • DRCC (Bihar) & PMSSS (J&K) students: Specific rules apply; students must ensure timely applications and deposits.

G. Other Fees

  • Enrollment Fee (one-time), Exam Fee (per semester), Book Bank Fee (₹1000 per year).
  • Optional facilities: Bus Transport, Hostel, Tours.
  • Uniform: Compulsory; provided by an official vendor.
  • Insurance: Accident cover for students & sponsoring parent (₹2 lakh each).
