Program Description
The BBA- Sustainable Development, ESG & CSR at Rungta International Skills University is a three-year undergraduate programme designed to build future-ready leaders for the evolving fields of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), ESG, sustainability, governance, and development practice. The programme is offered under the School of Sustainable Development in academic association with India CSR, and it combines classroom learning with real-world exposure to prepare students for responsible leadership in business and society.
The curriculum brings together CSR law, ESG frameworks, sustainability science, climate action, public policy, rural development, SDGs, and compliance practice into a structured academic pathway. Students gain practical experience through field immersion, internships, sustainability reporting practice, impact assessment simulations, and corporate/NGO exposure, helping them develop both analytical depth and applied understanding.
Course
Industry-Aligned Curriculum
- Study of CSR law and compliance under the Companies Act, 2013, including Section 135, CSR Rules and Amendments, Schedule VII, and CSR committee/reporting
- Learning in ESG and sustainability frameworks, including BRSR, GRI standards, sustainability reporting, and carbon accounting basics
- Sectoral exposure to CSR in education, healthcare and nutrition, rural development, climate action, and renewable energy
Field Exposure & Practical Learning
- Field visits and live projects that connect classroom concepts with on-ground CSR and sustainability work
- Corporate and NGO internships for real-world experience in social impact, development, and compliance ecosystems
