Program Description

A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a post graduate degree that provides theoretical and practical training for business or investment management. MBA at Rungta is designed to help graduates gain a better understanding of general business management functions. The MBA degree at Rungta has a specific focus in fields such as accounting, finance, marketing, HR, Operations, Systems and the like.

The MBA programme is tailored meticulously keeping in mind the industry dynamics and the ever changing economic scenario. It is a two year, semester based (4 semesters) programme with industry internships resulting in a structured project at the end of each year. 

The programme is of Dual Specialisation Model where students can take up any two the following in the second year as their specialisation.

• Marketing Management
• Finance Management
• Human Resource Management
• Systems Management
• Production and Operations Management

Apart from the regular classes, various Personality Development and Soft Skill Training Programmes are conducted regularly focussing on the wholistic development of students by the department. The department enables students to become the best management practitioners through Experiential Learning. For example, students are trained to become players in the stock market – the department provides them the right footing by helping them open their first DMAT account and teaching them the tricks of the trade with suggestions from industry experts. The department organises Regular Industry Interactions with exclusive Q & A sessions with respective industry processionals every Saturdays.

The MBA program focuses on developing essential business and management skills through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical applications. Students are trained in critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and effective communication.
